1980 - DP Associates was hired to provide data system operation support to the National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration/National Data Buoy Center at Stennis Space Center, MS. Providing over twenty years of support, the company's continuous longevity on the contract has meant consistent reliability of real-time accessibility to world-wide weather data for use by the National Weather Service and other agencies.
1978 - DP Associates, serving as contractor and subcontractor, began a 22 year support effort on the NASA/Marshall Space Flight Center Shuttle Project providing cost modeling, professional analysis, software development and configuration management. The company was responsible for the original cost modeling for the Shuttle Project.
